TOKYO, April 28 (AP) - (Kyodo) — Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama is mulling a visit to Okinawa Prefecture on May 4 to discuss issues related to where to move the U.S. Marine Corps' Futemma Air Station there with Gov. Hirokazu Nakaima, government sources said Wednesday.

The government will start arranging the schedule for the meeting soon, the sources said.

The move came after a rally Sunday in which about 90,000 local residents and politicians, including the governor, gathered in a village in Okinawa to call for the relocation of the Futemma base outside the southern island prefecture, which hosts the bulk of U.S. military facilities in Japan.
