Loral Names Henry C. Stackpole, Vice President Of Asia-Pacific Operations

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 21, 1994--Loral Corporation (NYSE:LOR) has named Henry C. Stackpole vice president for Asia-Pacific Operations in Tokyo, Japan, where he will be Loral's primary contact point for potential customers in this region. He reports to Frank C. Lanza, president of Loral.
In this new position, Mr. Stackpole will provide support to Loral's customers in the planning, financing and operation of government military and commercial programs, including satellite systems, in Japan and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining Loral, Mr. Stackpole served more than 30 years in the United States military and retired as Commander of Marine Forces Pacific/Commanding General, Fleet Marine Force Pacific, headquartered at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.
Mr. Stackpole earned a bachelor's degree from Princeton University, a master's degree in political science from George Washington University, and a master's degree in education from Stanford University. He has been honored by the Government of Japan with the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun, 3rd Class, for furtherance of Japanese/American understanding and partnership. He also received the Order of National Security Merit from the Republic of Korea.
Mr. Stackpole lives in Tokyo, Japan, with his wife, Vivien.
